Tony NethercutWith over 20 years of experience in sales and operations at some of the world’s most well-known media companies including Yahoo, DoubleClick, YouTube and AdMob, Tony Nethercutt brings an enviable raft of knowledge and experience to Mocean Mobile.

For 13 years, Tony built his career as a TV sales rep and sales manager for the likes of ABC-TV and New World (at which point he transitioned into the digital space with GeoCities). From there, Mocean Mobile's CEO, Dave Gwozdz, hired Tony at DoubleClick to develop specialized programs for advertisers and agencies.  The success of these programs garnered press interest and landed Tony on the front page of the Wall Street Journal in ’98.

After his time with DoubleClick, Tony moved to Lot21, a pioneering digital agency, which was soon acquired by Carat Interactive in ‘02. From 2002 to 2006, with a broad range of both above-the-line and digital experience, he joined Yahoo and consulted with major agencies on their accounts.  This ultimately led to Tony being the only four-time Platinum Sales Award MVP during his time at Yahoo.

With these enviable accolades, Tony’s career gained momentum when he joined YouTube as their original VP of Sales.  Tony developed and led the YouTube revenue strategy, along with the hiring and training of the team members in sales, account management, and sales operations up until its acquisition.

In November of 2006, following the YouTube acquisition by Google, Tony joined AdMob as VP of Sales, where he oversaw both brand and DR advertising strategy, hiring and training sales and account management, and advertising operations. AdMob was acquired by Google in May of 2010.
